Sa'diyya will be explaining Ethnic Fusion theory - her own methods and guidelines for fusing Middle Eastern Dance, as well as teaching a DRAMATIC sword dance to the music "Immortal Egypt" by Hosam Ramzy. This workshop is appropriate for dancers new to sword dancing and professionals alike. Bring a sword or cane to balance on your head and knee pads! (Some movements will involve going down to the floor - if students aren't able to descend to the floor due to knee problems, etc, Sa'diyya will give alternative, equally impressive, movements the student can use instead.)
